Hi, it's been forever, I know.

The last few months we've been having some problems with misplaced deviations.

Okay, most of the folders are named for the series of fanart they take. The Inuyasha folder is only for Inuyasha fanart, Ranma is only for Ranma 1/2 fanart. Please don't submit Urusei Yatsura fanart to the Inuyasha folder, for instance.

Now the biggest problem lately is the Misc.. I realize from the name maybe it's not totally clear, but that's for OTHER Takahashi fanart. Mermaid Saga, One Pound Gospel, the short stories. It says this in the folder description in the gallery, but I know that doesn't show up if you're submitting from your deviation's page.

I'm okay with taking Commission sheets and whatnot, but I'd rather those go in the Crossover folder, or the relevant series folder (if you've only got Ranma 1/2 characters on your commission sheet, for instance, submit to the Ranma folder).

But I don't know, the Miscellaneous folder is so neglected and sad I might just get rid of it all together, just change the Rumiko Takahashi folder to "Other Takahashi fanart" or something and move the Misc. art there.

There's now a "Please submit to the correct folder" folder to see if that helps the misplaced deviations. You can't submit to that one, it's just because a lot of people submit to the Inuyasha folder, which is the first one, and I know the Urusei Yatsura folder used to be first and people would always submit to THAT instead of the correct folder. So maybe if this one is first people will get it?

Of course I understand people from non-English speaking countries may be used to some of these series having different names, it's just, it's annoying because it happens all the time. Nobody's in trouble, I'm just sharing my annoyance and reminding everyone what the Misc. folder is for.

Sorry if that was hard to read, my head is really foggy for some reason.

Oh and we hit 706 members this year! How exciting.

Funnily enough, I started reading it earlier yesterday before I saw this comment. It's not bad!

This is indeed the case =) But that's a pity that it was not long continue (( Glad you liked it ^_^ How do you like the heroine Yume ?

Well I'm only about 40 pages in so far, so  don't have a good idea of her personality so far, just that she seems pretty noble, and that's cool. I also like her design - I've seen a lot of Inuyasha OCs in my day (and I've even made some myself) and she doesn't look so bland like a lot of Inuyasha OCs can tend to be.

Question: Does anybody know how to contact Rumiko Takahashi?

"3. How can I get in touch with a manga creator?

You can send in fan letters to our office and we'll do our best to forward them along to the manga creator. Please send all mail to:

SHONEN JUMP P.O. Box 77010 San Francisco, CA 94107  "

So they'll try their best to send mail to whoever, but it doesn't sound like the translate it into Japanese for you.

There's also this…

The first box is for the name of the mangaka you're sending fanmail to (probably it won't work if you type in non-Japanese characters), second box is for your message, third is for your name, fourth for your email, and fifth is for your age. And then the button under the green text is for "send".
