New Inuyasha Chapter: Summary! + Other stuff

Here's a journal that has a link to scans of the chapter (in Chinese), and a script in English! eternally-destined.deviantart.… The script is separate from the scans, but it's still something!

As far as I know, no scanlations of the chapter are up yet, which is understandable.

Here's a summary of the chapter from someone who can read Japanese and got ahold of some scans earlier:
"A youkai called Ne no Kubi gets released by a landslide and starts killing people. This youkai was sealed by Kikyou shortly before she met Inuyasha. The youkai is still after Kikyou and the Shikon no Tama, not realizing both are gone due to it having been sealed away up until now. It goes after Kagome instead, and she and Inuyasha beat it down after everyone else gets a complimentary shot at it."

I think Sesshomaru is in the chapter but doesn't do anything (but it could be that he's not in the chapter... and doesn't do anything).
Edit: Sesshomaru is in the chapter. He doesn't do much.
Also definitely in the chapter are a bunch of nondescript villagers that look identical to every other villager in every previous chapter of Inuyasha who wasn't important to the story.

Koga is NOT in the chapter.


And as I figured, no additional babies seem to be present. I was pretty sure this was just going to be a chapter along the lines of what we saw in volumes 10-16, without a lot of romance or millions of children or anything, and it seems I was right.


According to the person who gave that summary (Patches365, if anyone's curious), the art style is pretty much unchanged from the last chapter, and the humor is a bit snarkier but still enjoyable.

And from the one panel I've seen, Kohaku still appears to be 11 even though he should be 14 or 15 by the time this chapter takes place.
